About the Drink
The Garden Margarita Mocktail is everything you love about a classic margarita, just without the alcohol. It’s sharp, citrus-forward, and refreshing, with fresh lime juice doing all the heavy lifting and orange cordial adding a soft, sunny sweetness.
It’s designed to feel intentional. The agave rounds everything out so the drink still has that familiar margarita balance, while the salted rim keeps it feeling crisp, lifted, and a little bit special. It’s the kind of mocktail you’d happily serve to anyone, anytime.
INGREDIENTS
50 ml fresh lime juice
30 ml orange cordial or orange syrup
15 ml agave syrup
1 lime wedge, for rimming the glass
Salt, for the rim
1 lime slice, for garnish
METHOD
1.
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a small margarita or coupe glass, then dip into salt to lightly coat.
2.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add fresh lime juice, orange cordial (or syrup), and agave syrup.
3.
Shake hard until the outside of the shaker feels properly chilled.
4.
Strain into your prepared glass.
5.
Garnish with a lime slice on the rim and serve immediately.
Tips
Fresh lime juice is essential. It’s what gives the drink its structure and brightness.
Don’t overdo the sweetness. The orange cordial and agave should support the lime, not dominate it. Taste and adjust if needed.
Shake it properly. A hard shake with ice gives the mocktail that chilled, slightly diluted cocktail texture.
Salt rim lightly. It’s what gives that classic margarita contrast, even without alcohol.
Coupe or small margarita glass works best. It keeps the drink feeling elegant and concentrated rather than oversized.
Serve immediately. This drink is at its best ice cold and freshly strained.
